In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
